The
videos on this website are intended to help and inform the visitor
about specific topics connected to microphones and recording techniques.
To get them down in size but still looking and sounding good they
are rendered as Flash files and work by progressively downloading
from the site. To get them to play you will need a broadband connection
and generally with a half meg connection the videos will stream
and play in around 10 seconds. With a 5 meg broadband connection
it's pretty instantaneous but for anyone out there on dial up
you'lll be waiting forever. So come on join us in the real world
and get a broadband connection.
How
To Download Audio Files (03.54) This desktop video shows you how to download
audio tracks from the sessions pages on the site to a
specific folder on your drive. From here you can use the
import function to paste all the tracks in perfect syncinto a new Cubase project so that you can mix
the session yourself.
Decoding
Mid/Side in Cubase(03.29) This desktop video shows you how to decode a
pair of Mid/Side microphones in Cubase. The 2 mics were
part of a recording session from a large Male Voice choir
and you will definately need to be connected to a pair
of stereo speakers for this video to make any sense!
